Final Presentation- Brianna Pacheco

Brianna Pacheco- Final Presentation

Greetings, my name is Brianna Pacheco. I am a multimedia artist who works with pencil, charcoal, and digital. I am typically more traditional as I prefer to do the majority of my work on paper first. I choose to color my work digitally. Through discovering who I am as an artist, I came across fantastic art. It is a broad term that encompasses imaginative realism with roots in folkloric, mystical, and mythical art. Through reflection, I find that the artwork I produce conveys this term. It is expressed in my four portfolio examples: Dragon Lady, Chibi May, May - Cow Witch, and Deceitful Lover. While each figure looks human in appearance, they all have some type of nonhuman feature.

My exhibition proposal is a solo gallery that focuses on a series representing diversity in the form of fantasy species. The target audience is young adults (14-18) with an interest in the fantasy genre. The budget is $1,000 to account for printing, possible gallery renting requirements, and emergencies. The artwork will be 18”x24” printed digital drawings on glossy paper with framing for $61.50 per piece. The potential gallery will either be in-person at Smack Mellon or a virtual gallery with TERAVARNA.
