My name is Rachel Alfonso. Grew up watching my dad paint but I never had an inclination for fine arts. It wasn't till high school that I started showing interest in graphic design. I am a senior a couple of months away from graduation. I´m a graphic designer who loves brand identity. Through my creativity, I intend to capture a company's essence and give it personality. My artwork is influenced by the ambiance that I surround myself with. I also find painting very inspirational, both in terms of theories and mediums. Two years ago, I started my own company "RDA Creative" and helped around 20 businesses find their identity. Carolyn Davidson is my biggest inspiration, to those who don't know who she is the lady who designed the Nike logo. She was only paid 35 dollars to do Nike's logo. The founder of Nike didn't love it but trusted that it would make him big one day. This amazing story inspires me to believe in the process and trust myself. And that it seems nothing is simple the beginning of something huge.
