What were 5 themes the artists addressed about making work?

  •  Kerry James Marshall 
    •  his love for collages and images
    • taking the work that is loved such as greek gods etc and putting the gods of cultures not seen 
    • he uses big work but also smaller work in the comic world 
    • the need to see and create is incredible strong  
    •  the culture and pain not to be forgotten

    •  the inside out shows the sculpture the work is measured perfectly

  5. breaking free from the mold can be scary but necessary
