My work goes from being abstract to more formal flyers (wip). My work changed last year due to me changing fields. I like sketching and the roughness that comes with the sketches. That grain and waviness. Man I can't explain it. Look at this war of mine. It's a game with a pencil aesthetic and that roughness is great.
1. What is the meaning, Idea and messaging of my work?
I don't have a meaning behind my work. I do it just to do it. I want to mess around with adobe and see what I can do. I let my hand go free sometimes and just sketch like I don't have a mind. The only message my work has is who made this and why.
2. What is a problem in the world that your work helps to solve or a story it helps to tell?Nothing. My work is not political in anyway and doesn't have a meaning to help the world. And the story is what the people who view it see.
3. What is important to convey in your work?
I just want people to look and see what it is. They can spend seconds, minutes or, an hour looking at it. They choose what their mind wants to think. If it is with my booklets then the information they need.
I want them to think more than anything. I hope they get enjoyment from my work or even joy from it. But I don't really have a strong opinions on what I want them to feel. I hope people feel for my work but what it is, is out of my control.
5.How do you imagine the work will be received?
I imagine pretty positively. The colors would be a highlight. How it's used and what the people can see from it. Abstraction in it's fullest form.
6.What does the work accomplish?
The freeing of the mind. Just kidding. It accomplishes the ease of it. Hopefully not to hard to see. It accomplishes the feeling of not having fingernails on a chalk board.
7.Explain how the examples of your work included in the post might fulfill this mission?
The mission is having people think. And if these works without there title does that then my mission is complete.
Iceberg In Space. Why not float in space. The contrast in color and it's like light is coming out of the iceberg.
Blissful cloud. What does your mind say. What do you feel. What ever you say is what it is. Welcome to the cloud of blissfulness.
The walking man.
This work was made with me messing around and seeing how the blend tool works.
I wanted to display a figure walking to something or coming out of the ground like sandman in
Spider-Man 3
